Pule Maraisane impresses for Cape Town All Stars

Maraisane was reported to have been training with Pirates about two years ago with the intention to sign, only to disappear from the local football scene back then.

The 26-year-old is now believed to be preparing for a move to Mamelodi Sundowns next season, according to transfer whispers.

He is currently on a short-term contract with All Stars until the end of the season and has already won the heart of coach Calvin Marlin, who believes he can still improve his game.

"He has played four games, he is very good youngster. Good character, good on the ball," Marlin tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We play him as a winger but also discovered he can play as a number 10. He is a bit lazy in defending, but it's an area that we are working on and I believe he will improve."

All Stars, who are now up to 11th on the GladAfrica Championship log, beat JDR Stars 2-1 in Tshwane this past weekend to ease their relegation concerns.
