Zambian striker Mwape Musonda will continue his search for a new club after his exit from Moroka Swallows.
The 33-year-old striker only managed to make 12 appearances for the Dube Birds, scoring three goals last season, as well as registering only one assist.

According to a source close to Platinum City Rovers, Musonda did well at training during his assessment but did not meet the expectations of being a solution to their goalscoring problems. Rovers have since opted against the signing of the attacker.
"He is a decent player. You could see his experience on the field of play. But he is not what the club is looking for at the moment," said a source at the club.

Musonda has played for Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows, and Black Leopards amongst other PSL clubs in South Africa. The Zambian striker also spent time in Saudi Arabia when he played for Hatta and Al-Sahel before returning to the country to team up with Moroka Swallows in 2021.
