Pentjie Zulu explains Black Leopards departure, hints at Kaizer Chiefs

Zulu left Lidoda Duvha in January and is playing NFD football for the rest of the 2020/21 season following his failed move to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila due to financial disagreements.

"We had an agreement us and the team. The agreement was for them to allow me to leave," Zulu tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"I wanted more challenge. I wanted to relax a bit and refresh my mind. I left in January. My contract with Leopards was expiring in June, but we agreed to some settlements.

"Now we are going to make sure the team gets promoted [Sekhukhune]. I'm coming back in the PSL next season. I can't say which team but I'll be back next season. It will depend which team but personally my aim is to get promoted with the club."

Zulu did not hide the fact that he dreams of filling the troubled Kaizer Chiefs left-back position.

"Ya that's also my aim. But it's going to happen."
