Nathi Mqokiyane: Chiefs will bounce back from relegation

Chiefs were relegated to ABC Motsepe League following a 3-2 loss at the hands Cape Town All Stars on Wednesday afternoo.

The Eastern Cape side have spent only one season in the second tier after winning promotion from the ABC Motsepe League last season.

"I feel satisfied. This because the club has achieved part of the main objective to showcase talent that was not in radar of South African football. Our objective was to give platform for our players to advance their career in football and we did this successfully because I can tell you majority of these boys will be playing their football in professional football next season and beyond ".

"I can safely say this not the result we wanted but I am happy that some of these boys will continue with their career with or without me."

Chiefs are now only left with three games the season and Mqoyane says his club want to bow out in style.

"This is a special club. This is a big brand in the Eastern Cape. We have done this before".

"We gonna go back to drawing board and prepare a young team. Maybe this time we will be much wiser. We have huge fan base ,our fans are much more involved with the team and probably when we come back, will be allowed to go back to the stadium," he added.
