Polokwane City maintained top spot in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with a 2-1 win over All Stars FC on Wednesday.
Rise and Shine were first to hit the front around the half-hour mark as Bulelani Nikani fired in and left the visitors trailing.
Stars didn't trail for long though and hit back in the last seconds to halftime with a finish from on-loan player Promise Mkhuma.
The promotion-chasing City were back in front and ultimately got the winner through Simon Ramabu and extended their lead at the top of the table.
Cape Town Spurs 3-2 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC
Cape Town Spurs continued to cement third spot and push for promotion with an entertaining 3-2 victory over the relegation-threatened Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC.
Shaun Bartlett's boys raced into an early lead through Therlo Moosa and added a second inside a few minutes through a spot-kick from Ashley Cupido.
Tshakhuma responded a while thereafter and subsequently levelled ahead of halftime through a finish from Nkosivumile Zulu.
However, Spurs reclaimed momentum when Boitumelo Radiopane, who is on-loan from Orlando Pirates, claimed the winner to leave Tshakhuma in the bottom-two.
Platinum City Rovers 1-1 Casric Stars
Casric Stars played out another stalemate in as many matches in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after holding Platinum City Rovers to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday afternoon.
The visitors just come off the exact same outcome against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC and this result keep them second on the table behind Polokwane City.
Rovers breakthrough came courtesy of Bonginkosi Dlamini before Thabang Rakwena responded for, with the result extending their unbeaten run to 12 matches whilst Rovers lie 12th on the log.

Baroka FC failed to record back-to-back wins following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Uthongathi FC at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
The Cane Cutters, who lost to Cape Town Spurs on Friday, ended a four-match winless run with this victory over Bakgaga and jumped to eighth spot on the table.
On-loan Kaizer Chiefs man Mthokozisi Balakazi contributed to the outcome with Tshepo Liphoko in on the act too as the loss dropped Bakgaga to tenth.
