Black Leopards 0-2 Polokwane City

Polokwane City moved to the top of the table in the Motsepe Foundation Championship following a 2-0 win over Black Leopards in the Limpopo derby on Sunday.

Thabang Matuludi and Bafana Nana were on target for the home side, who leapfrogged Casric Stars into top spot.

Lidoda Duvha will remain at the bottom of the standings, having recently just appointed Owen Da Gama as their new head coach.

Uthongathi FC 0-1 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs cemented third-spot on the Motsepe Foundation Championship table with a 1-0 win over Uthongathi FC at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Friday.

The loss is the Cane Cutters fourth in succession and see them lie ninth on the table and dropped further away from the league's pace-setters.

Spurs moved within three points off the top of the standings following this win, as Ashley Cupido struck the winner in the middle of the first half.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC 1-1 Casric Stars

Casric Stars missed the chance to open a wider gap at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table after coming from behind for a 1-1 draw against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC on Saturday.

It was Tshakhuma's first clash at their new home Bloemfontein having relocated from Thohoyandou, and were ahead through Luvolwethu Mpeta earlier on.

An own-goal by Joshua Netshilindi drew matters level and earned Stars a share of the spoils and had Tshakhuma drop down to second-bottom spot.

Magesi FC 0-1 JDR Stars

JDR Stars increased their chances towards a top-three position with a 1-0 win over Magesi FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The win pushed the Hammerboys to fourth spot as Tshepang Moremi got the winner and ended their two-match winless run, with Magesi in the bottom-half bracket.

Pretoria Callies 0-0 Platinum City Rovers

Pretoria Callies moved out of the relegation zone despite playing to a hard-fought goalless draw against Platinum City Rovers at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

It is the second goalless stalemate between the two this season, having done so in the first round engagement as well this campaign.

Baroka FC 3-1 Venda Football Academy

Baroka FC scrapped their three-match run without a win after displaying a convincing 3-1 victory against the Venda Football Academy in the Limpopo derby.

Goals from Ntiyiso Bombi, Dan Ndhlovu and Santino Smith guided Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele to victory and to eighth spot on the table.

Venda pulled a goal back through former Kaizer Chiefs flying winger Edmore Chirambadare, but it didn't result in a comeback and are now four places from the bottom.

All Stars FC 1-3 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria secured a second straight victory and moved up to sixth spot on the table after seeing off All Stars FC 3-1.

It was a strong opening from AmaTuks and a double in the first half from Siphamandla Ncanana put on course to victory.

Stars hit back through Menzi Ndwandwe, but the visiting team from the nation's capital got a third and killed off the contest through Kamohelo Pheaane.
