Marumo Gallants FC chairman Abram Sello says he does not regret focusing on chasing continental glory at the expense of the club's DStv Premiership status.
Gallants's good run in the CAF Confederations Cup last season saw them being relegated from the Premier Soccer League to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
"I'm not regretting but everyone of us got their good side and bad side," Sello tells KickOff.
"We just missed the playoffs by one point. So we don't have to go back and put a blame on what happened, we must look forward and look at better ways. We don't regret taking part in a continental competition.
"As for how we got relegated, it's still questionable even to those players we kept. We are still asking ourselves the same question but we won't focus on that anymore. Our mission from now on is to fight until we get back to where we belong."

Sello also explained his club's poor start in the second-tier this season, and remain optimistic they can still win promotion this season.
Gallants are currently in position 12 on the log table with only 16 points gathered in 14 matches, with ten points separating Gallants with leaders Orbit College FC.
"We are in the middle of the road, we are doing everything possible to get back to the PSL. It's only time that will tell.
"We are hopeful everything will go well. In January we will be beefing up our team and make changes there and there. We will be going with the flow while doing everything in our power to get things right. Remember our previous squad has been disintegrated and we had to start a new one. We have a different team now so we still had to bring combinations. But so far so good.
"As for the issue of coaching, you see people from the distance they are doing good, you bring them to your environment and all of a sudden things don't work out. But that doesn't mean that particular coach is not good though, it's just that sometimes things don't work out.
"Unfortunately football is results driven. If the results are not coming you have to change your coach or otherwise by the time you open your eyes 10 games will be gone," the chairman concluded.
