Black Leopards' attempts to remain in the Motsepe Foundation Championship look to be reaching a successful conclusion.
After suffering relegation to the third tier of South African football, Leopards chairman David Thidiela has tabled an offer to purchase the status of All Stars.
All Stars chairman Lunga Ncwana has slapped an R8 million to R10 million pricetag on his club to any interested party.

"Thidiela is begging, he is asking the chairman to sell the status," a source tells KickOff.
"The chairman has a soft spot for Thediela.
"What gives Thidiela the edge is that he is a football person.
"The All Stars chairman wants to give the status to a football person. Not someone who will buy it today, then sell it tomorrow.
"He made it clear, he doesn't need this money, he doesn't need this franchise, he'd rather give it to someone who appreciates.
"There's been many proposals, and one of them was so hard to believe. There was also an international proposal.
"But, I'm positive Thidiela will get the status, he was told to raise more money.
"So, I'm sure what has been offered it's not enough.
"Ncwana will only continue with the team next season if nothing ideal comes up.
"If that happens, the team will move back to Cape Town. It's been a nightmare in Joburg.
"The chairman picked up later that he made a mistake by coming to Johannesburg. Nothing is free in Joburg.
"To be honest, the All Stars chairman has agreed to sell to Thidiela, the only thing left now is for Thidiela to pay the money.
"Everyone is praying Thidiela manages to raise some R1 million or R2 million to make it R8 million at least."
