Former Marumo Gallants players have reported the club to the Football Union of South Africa [FUSA].
Indications are that the Motsepe Foundation Championship side is believed to be owing some former squad members outstanding monies that is believed to have been promised to the players last season.
Gallants bombed out of the CAF Confederations Cup after failing to overturn a 2-0 first-leg result in last season's semi-final.

According to the secretary general at FUSA, Mr Taelo Motloung, the club received USD750 000 for reaching the semi-final, with the team having been promised a portion of the money.
"Marumo Gallants promised their players 30% each of the money they received from CAF for their fairytale run in the 2022/23 season. They also promised them a braai," Motloung tells KickOff.
"The reports say they received USD750 000 from CAF, we are told 10% of this money has to go to SAFA. But up to date these players have not seen a cent of their share, and reports tell us CAF has already paid the club.
"What happened is the players came to FUSA, and we engaged the club, we sent them the letter of demands, but the club didn't want to entertain us. So we took the matter of Abram Ngcobo to the PSL DRC, and we got an order, the club has to pay. Which is a win for us," he added.

"And there are still more players who are coming to us regarding this issue, but what surprises us is, why do clubs promise players, but at the end of the day don't deliver?
"When players deliver on the pitch and qualify the club for the next round of whatever competition it's a good thing and clubs get excited and promise bonuses, which is good because it motivates the players. But when it's the club's turn to deliver on the promise it's always a problem, which we don't understand.
"We are saying the club must pay what is due to the players that's all. Clubs must honour their promises. So yes, we won the case of Ngcobo, the order was delivered by the PSL DRC, and the player must get his money. We expect the same for the other players who are still coming for the hearing."
