Kaizer Chiefs have announced that three of the club's key players have each penned two-year contract extensions with the Soweto giants.
Amakhosi announced on Thursday through the club's WhatsApp channel that midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and goalkeepers Brandon Petersen have each signed a fresh deals that will now keep them at the club until 2026, with an option to extend it for another season.

The 28-year-old has kept four clean sheets for Chiefs and proven himself as a great shot-stopper this season but has also come under fire from supporters over individual errors leading to goals.

Petersen joined Chiefs from Wits in 2021 but has struggled to nail down a starting role or convince both the club's hierarchy and supporters that he's the ideal replacement for the long-serving Itumeleng Khune.
Still, Amakhosi have persevered in their faith in Petersen and it comes as little surprise that his contract was renewed before it expired come June 2024.
The goalkeeper made 11 appearances in his first season at Chiefs, keeping three clean sheets. He had his best season in Chiefs shirt in his second campaign where he made 21 appearances, keeping 10 clean sheets.

Like the goalkeeping duo, Ngcobo, whose contract was set to expire in June has agree a new deal with the Soweto giants. 'Mshini' is a product of the Amakhosi development, having joining the club's youth ranks in 2014.
Ngcobo has battled with injuries and is yet to live-up to his full potential but his recent run of form has ben enough to convince the club's hierarchy. The 24-year-old has started all six of Chiefs' last six matches.
