The 31-year-old, who recently spent a short time playing in Iraq, has signed with Callies until the end of the season with an option to renew.
Twala could make his debut for the Romans when they take on Uthongathi FC in their next GladAfrica Championship match at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
