Boost for Free State football as Bloemfontein Celtic set for sensational return

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila are set to be sensationally renamed Bloemfontein Celtic after relocating to the Free State province.

The Lawrence Mulaudzi-owned side dumped Venda for Bloemfontein and now plan to rename the club Bloemfontein Celtic.

Vhadau Vha Damani have even changed their kit colours to green and white, colours previously used by Siwelele before selling their status to Royal AM.

"The change of home colours to green and white it's Siwelele culture," Manager Azwihangisi Phasha tells KickOff.

"You saw the colours; the whole kit has changed. We are now Siwelele."

Asked if there was a position of also renaming the club Bloemfontein Celtic, Phasha replied,

"Yes, there is a possibility of remaining in the club in the coming season.

"The welcome from the Celtic fans was okay, they did show up, and they will do come in numbers in the coming home games."
