Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has detailed his decision to release 27 first-team players following the conclusion of the season.
Last season Bakgaga finished ninth in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, with Mphahlele blaming many of his former players for the damage caused.

The released players include, Jackson Mabokgwane, Phumlani Ntshangase, Tebogo Moerane, Nkosinathi Ononogbu, Decide Chauke and Oscarine Masuluke who has been sold to Stellenbosch FC.
"Immediately after finishing the league, we made up our minds, they are gone," Mphahlele tells KickOff.
"Ntshangase's season was ruined by injuries.
"We are not assessing anyone here; we bring players from their teams and sign them from their previous teams.
"We recently had trials, and we only found one boy.
"So, we can't say we are okay until we meet with our competitors."
"We only finished the season with the likes of Oscarine Masuluke, Ananias Gebhardt and 15 others.
"We still have all those players in our team even now, except Masuluke who has gone to Stellenbosch.
"But the rest they are still here. We want a promotion next season. Nothing else.
"There is a huge difference between the Motsepe Foundation Championship and the Premier Soccer League, here we are playing for one position.
"In the DStv, we played for many positions and cup competitions. There is a big difference."
