Since taking over from Stanford Nkoane, Malesela has not experienced a single defeat.
Hlongwane, who had been without a club since parting ways with Galaxy at the start of the 2023/24 season, had already made three appearances for Galaxy during that season.
Despite his tenure with the Mpumalanga province-based club spanning several seasons, the 30-year-old forward only managed to score two goals and provide one assist in his 30 appearances under the guidance of coach Saed Ramovic.
Baroka FC, based in Limpopo, has been competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship since the 2022/23 season following their relegation from the top tier.
