Both teams stand a chance of winning automatic promotion to the top - tier heading into the final day of the GladAfrica Championship campaign.
Thindwa feels both clubs have what it takes to compete in the top flight as they have the financial muscle to sign good players.
"Yes they are both ready because financially they are strong," Thindwa tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"I think they will be able to sign good players. Because they do have money. For instance, Sekhukhune has been able to sign very good players who have played in the Premier League. One of them it's Maluleke (Jabulani) even though he is now old but he is one of the key players and I believe he didn't come cheap. There's also Kapinga and Motsepe from Highlands Park...they were not earning cents."
When asked if the Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane will be able to juggle his music career and celebrity lifestyle with the demanding job of running a PSL club, Scara said, "Remember he's not alone, he's got his mother (Celebrity and reality TV star Mamkhize).
"There are other officials like Sinky (Mnisi) there. Richard Makhoba I think he's the general manager there. Even though the money they will get from the PSL is big, on their own they are financially strong. Because of that they will be able to compete with the other teams which are in the league. The GladAfrica is a different kettle of fish than the PSL."
Sekhukhune's last match is against Play -Off hopefuls JDR Stars at Soshanguve's Giant Stadium, while Royal AM close the season at home to 11th- placed Cape Town All Stars.
All matches on Sunday will start at 15h00.
