Marumo Gallants are pursuing the signature of a former Chippa United player who is blazing a trail in a neighbouring league, but it appears they will have to dig a little bit deeper into the pocket to land him.
Reports from Botswana indicate Gallants management are in negotiations with Thatayaone Kgamanyane's current club, Gaborone United, with a view to to securing his services.
He is the co-winner of the Botswana League Golden Boot after netting 15 league goals this past season.

Word, however, is that Siwelele Sa Marumo are not the only South African outfit interested in the player.
There is said to be interest from Sekhukhune United, who are reportedly monitoring the situation with eyes lighting up with interest.
The exciting attacking midfielder is familiar with the PSL landscape having joined Chippa from Gaborone United in 2018.
However, his time at the Gqeberha-based side lasted only six months, after which he rejoined Gaborone at the start of the following year.
The length of the 29-year-old's contract with his current club, but it appears both Gaborone and Gallants are having difficulty agreeing on a transfer price.

According to a source in Botswana, discussions have already commenced, but Gaborone are reluctant to let go of one of their prized assets without a fair price.
