Sundowns fan: If you don’t have a ticket, make sure you stay at home!

In this edition of Supporters Forum, KickOff speaks to Mamelodi Sundowns fan MuSiphos Nkuna about the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final.
On Saturday, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, the newly crowned Premier Soccer League champions will host Egyptian club Pyramids FC in the first leg of the two-legged final.
“Sundowns is going to win this tie, starting with the first leg at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday,” Nkuna tells KickOff.
“I’m certain we will win this first leg by at least two goals.
“Sundowns is in great shape and has been scoring well. In the past five games, they have shown that they are headed in the right direction. This isn’t our first encounter with Pyramids, we managed to defeat them away last time, so on Saturday, they won’t know what hit them.
“To the supporters; if you don’t have a ticket for Saturday’s final, make sure you stay at home! The stadium will be packed, and we will paint it yellow.
“Securing the second star is very important for Sundowns, as it will establish us as the biggest team in South Africa and will earn us respect throughout Africa.
“This star will not only make Sundowns fans proud but will also bring pride to the whole of Southern Africa.”
Kick-off at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday is at 15:00.
The second leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final will take place in Egypt on Sunday, 1 June 2025.
Mamelodi Sundowns won the Champions League trophy for the first and only time in 2016, and they are now hoping to become the first team in Southern Africa to win it twice.
