The expectation to come out guns blazing and banish the fresh memory of an MTN8 exit has been placed on the shoulders of Mamelodi Sundowns as they prepare to exchange fire with Kaizer Chiefs.
The league champions will face a revamped Kaizer Chiefs in a Betway Premiership match that many have found difficult to predict due to the history of this fixture and current form.

Sundowns have won two of their three league matches so far, while the home side have claimed three points in all three of theirs.
"Today, I'm confident Sundowns will win. The players will bounce back from their defeat to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8. I believe that loss was a wake-up call for them," shares Dan Semake, who used to don The Brazilians' jersey in the 1990s.
"Chiefs will pay for the sins of Pirates. Remember, Sundowns is a big team, so they are used to winning important matches. For them, a loss is something big.
"Against Pirates, they were not the Sundowns we know. I believe that defeat served as a crucial wake-up call.
"However, it won't be an easy game against Chiefs, as every team wants to beat Sundowns. Each match has its own challenge for them. Chiefs also want to remind everyone that they are still a big team.

"As is the case with every coach, Miguel Cardoso will approach this game and plan according to how he wants his team to play," he went on.
The former defender has pleaded with management to give the embattled tactician the freedom to implement his strategy.
"I just hope he has recognised the mistakes from previous matches, and that today we will see the Sundowns we know."
