The club has added Michael Loftman into their technical while there are club legends walking in uncertainty at the club.

"How can I be fired when I have never been hired since I left the club as a player," asks Ramasike whose name has been mentioned in the reports that have also added his former teammate Joel Masilela in the list of those moved aside at the club.

The retired left footed midfielder joined The Brazilians in 1996 after spells with Moroka Swallows and Cape Town Spurs and then left in 2001 having been transfer listed after a single appearance in the 2000/01 season.

A few months later he then had a brief spell with Avondale Atletico in the first division.

Just like at Spurs where he won the double, Ramasike also enjoyed great returns with Sundowns won three league titles and lifted the BobSave SuperBowl and Rothmans Cup.

"I don't know it can be said I have come to be fired now at Sundowns when I have not been working at the club.

"Look, I have never been a juniors coach at Sundowns since the time when I left the club as a player all those years ago.

"As we all know, I did play for Sundowns but I have never even a juniors coach at the club, so it was surprising when I heard that I have since been fired.

"I have no idea why my name is being mentioned along with the guys that are said to have been fired or due to be fired.

"One of the former players at Sundowns sent a story about me being fired and we were laughing about it because I have never been employed as a coach there," says Ramasike.

"My relationship with Sundowns was as a player from 1996 to 2001 and since then my only involvement was when I was invited to feature for the legends.

"Whenever the club has something for the legends, and I have an invitation I join but I have never been employed.

"Where I work right now has nothing to do with Sundowns and football.

Peter Ndlovu

"I have never been part of the legends that have been employed in their juniors as coaches.

"With regards to me and Sundowns this is what it is," says Ramasike.

Ramasike (51) currently holds a non-football job.
