As the wheels of change turn at Chloorkop, Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed yet another exit in the form of midfielder Junior Mendieta.
Sundowns confirmed via their social media platforms what had so far been a poorly-kept secret, that the Argentine had left the DStv Premiership champions.

Mendieta joined on a big-money deal from Stellenbosch FC after a productive season that yielded 19 goal contributions (10 goals and nine assists) in 31 appearances in the 2022/23 season across all competitions.
However, at Sundowns, things didn't go as smoothly.
The 31-year-old contributed just two goals and three assists in his 29 appearances. Mendieta started just four league matches for Sundowns.
