Following Rulani Mokwena's departure from Mamelodi Sundowns, what the future holds for the Soweto-born tactician has been officially revealed to this publication.
Sundowns officially confirmed on Wednesday that they have ended their employment relationship with Mokwena ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Speculation was already rife that the mentor was on the verge of leaving the club following an alleged dispute with Sporting Director Flemming Berg.

Mokwena had not pitched for pre-season, as the players reported for duty to do medical check-ups, ahead of their trip to Austria, where they will start their preparations for the new campaign.
With the news of Mokwena's departure from Sundowns now official, there are question marks on what is next for the meticulous tactician.
There were reports that the Soweto native was looking to take a one-year sabbatical, in anticipation of his shock exit from the Tshwane giants.
However, his agent, Steve Kapeluschnik of JDR Consulting, has dismissed those rumours and has revealed exclusively to this website that they will assess their options in the market, especially considering that there has been a lot of interest in the ex-Orlando Pirates coach.
"No, there's no sabbaticals," Kapeluschnik told KickOff.
"This has just happened. I mean, obviously he needs to take a little bit of time, it's not a sabbatical.
"There's been a lot of interest in Rulani for a long time, so we'll assess the different opportunities that come to us and we'll make the right decision for the right project," he added.

While in charge of Sundowns, Mokwena had attracted interest from North African and European clubs.
This website has been led to believe that the young coach's representatives, JDR Consulting, have been inundated with enquiries regarding Mokwena's services from different parts of the globe.
