Although his music career is no longer what it once was, his popularity has not waned, as he still commands massive attention from various parts of the world.
Although born in California in the US, it seems that his popularity extends to the British nation of Wales.
Snoop Dogg recently sent Welsh media into a frenzy after he was featured in Swansea City's official teaser for the release of their 2025/26 kits.
Swansea have since issued a statement acknowledging speculation about the musician's involvement with the club.
“We appreciate the considerable interest and enthusiasm generated by Snoop Dogg’s appearance in a Swansea City shirt,” Swansea City said in a statement, according to Wales Online.
“While we are not in a position to share specifics with you all just yet, we will be able to provide more details soon and we’re excited about what’s to come.”
Notably, Real Madrid legend Luka Modric also became a co-owner at Swansea earlier this year.
