Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

KO Comments

Rulani Mokwena says he is proud of winning the DStv Premiership title after finally getting to lift the trophy after their draw to Maritzburg United.

Masandawana clinched their sixth consecutive league title with seven games left and ended the season on 70 points, with 21 wins and only two defeats in their 30 games, with Mokwena remaining unbeaten in the league since taking over fully in October.

Despite dropping points against relegation-threatened Maritzburg United, head coach Mokwena was in celebratory mode as he congratulated the club on winning another league and mentioned how extremely consistent they had to be to secure their sixth in-a-row.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Rulani proud to win 'most important' trophy in South Africa" story:

"Even next year we going to win it, because there's nothing radically we're gonna change - add two or three players. Etiosa Ighodaro will come back and take the center forward position.

"While teams will be trying combinations, Sundowns has already figured out what needs to be done, we shall forever remain ahead, a system is already there," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

"Congratulations to the Motsepe family," says Saavedra.

"All must accept that Sundowns is in a league of its own. Looking at yesterday's presentations and celebrations, I somehow felt that winning the championship with 7 games to spare, somehow took away the vibe at least reduced it - almost like a flat coke that's lost its fizz.

"All said and done, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CHAMPIONS!!" says Dukwase.

Kaizer Chiefs legend Zebulon Nhlapo insists the club should head coach Arthur Zwane to sign his own players after an underwhelming debut season.

Nhlapo also said that this is the time the club management needs to back Zwane following the abuse he suffered from fans after their 1-0 defeat to SuperSport United on Saturday.

The ex-Chiefs star feels that fourth place isn't a bad starting point for the club's rebuild, and feels that strikers Christian Saile Basomboli and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana weren't Zwane's signings.

Here's how the readers responded to Nhlapo in the "'They must allow him to choose his own players' - Chiefs urged to hand Zwane control" story:

"This guy is talking nonsense. Chiefs success can't be majored by how many times they beat Pirates. Zwane needs a good assistant and a Technical advisor, couple of strikers, two defensive midfielders," says Eduardo Dos Santos.

"Sputla should not base his argument on the loss to Pirates as the reason for supporters to be angry. It's because of all the many games the team lost, easy games for that matter," says mthiza.tm.

"Nhlapo is talking nonsense. They dude signed Bimenyimana, Saile, Dove, Du Preez, Maart, Sithebe, Kwinika and others. All these players except Bimenyimana are quality but he can't use them.

"How many chances should be given when he led Chiefs to the worst goal scoring record and the team that conceded the most goals in their PSL era," says lufuno.mulaudzi who added:

"Sputla Nhlapo must stop defending mediocrity. Chiefs is too big a team to be coached by a coach without experience like Zwane."

"Okay if they are not his players, why are failing to defend every set piece?? Most of goals we conceded were dead balls, while we take at most 3 corners out of 10.

"We always play short rather than putting the ball for us to head. Only Ngezana fights for them. Why not put Mathoho for Dove?? Or shift his favorite Dove to the left and take out Gonondo, Mashiane is there to be used also. Dube needs motivation like he did with Dove, Kwinika and Ngezana.

"Healthy competition brings best out of ordinary players," says kinglovistochaka780.
