Although infamously expelled from the PSL, Royal AM doesn’t appear to have completely disappeared from public view. Here's a look!
The Story
Earlier this year, Royal AM were expelled from the PSL due to owner Shauwn Mkhize’s ongoing legal battle with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
Since then, the club has vanished from the Betway Premiership, having played very few matches in the second half of the season.

Given how rare such situations are, many have questioned what the club's absence truly means.
The short answer is that Mkhize is unlikely to revive Royal AM until her legal dispute with SARS is resolved.
The biggest impact has been felt by players, coaches, and staff, many of whom have had to seek new opportunities elsewhere.
Interestingly, the club still boasts a strong presence on social media, with over 163,000 followers on Instagram.
And if you were wondering whether their Instagram page would go offline too — the answer is no.
After several months of silence, the club returned to pay tribute to the late football commentator Phumlani Msibi.
Royal AM wrote: "We’re deeply saddened by the loss of a sports broadcasting legend. Your contributions to football and boxing have left an indelible mark on the industry.
"May your legacy continue to inspire future generations of sports enthusiasts and broadcasters."
