Messi struts insane R15m worth of jewellery!

Lionel Messi may not have participated in Inter Miami's latest encounter, but the 36-year-old still managed to dazzle those at the ground with a stunning piece of jewellery worth around R15 million!

The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner was unable to help his side win another trophy as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Houston Dynamo in the final of the US Open Cup early on Thursday morning, after being ruled out with a leg injury that reportedly stems from a previous scar tissue problem.

Despite the injury, Messi attended the game to show his support, and was spotted wearing a stunning, new Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5271/12P in platinum with a red dial.

The watch is illuminated by 80 baguette-cut rubies (5.25 cts) set on the bezel, the lugs and the fold-over clasp, and also features a hand-stitched strap made from alligator leather with square scales.

According to Insane Luxury Life, the watch retails at an estimated $348 500 (R6.7 million) and has a market price of $800 000 (R15 million).
