Orlando Pirates star Fortune Makaringe tested his skills against one of South Africa's famous freestylers Mjepa. WATCH!
The story
Football freestyling is considered an art rather than a sport and it even has a it's own international governing body called the World Freestyle Football Association (WFFA), which was founded in 2017.
If that wasn't clear enough, football freestyling is a real profession although freestylers tend to be overlooked by many of those who prefer professional football instead.
However, there's clearly enough room for both the beautiful game and freestyling to go exist, as Makaringe and Mjepa brought the two world's together during a what looked to be a community youth tournament.
The Bucs playmaker put up quite a challenge against the expert, as his juggling skills were quite impressive depite him wearing casual boots and not cleats. In the end, he was no competition for Mjepa, who boasts various freestyling titles, including the Redbull Street Style championship, South African freestyle champion, as well as the Lotto freestyle champ.
