Khama Billiat has now clocked a year since he had a proper run in a competitive game of football.
The Zimbabwean winger has been without a club since he left Kaizer Chiefs upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June, after failing to agree terms on a new deal.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to the Middle East, with DStv Premiership side Cape Town City also being mentioned as a possible destination.
October 2022 was the last time Billiat played an almost full match, lasting 79 minutes in a Soweto Derby. He's been troubled by injuries ever since and only featured for a minute in his last match for Chiefs against Cape Town City.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Billiat's trouble's deepen" story:
"Time to join the Chloorkop Old Age Center boy. Follow the footsteps of Surprise Ralani," says khosilannete0.
"Bobby please re-sign him. He is not done milking money from the Naturena camp," says truthngezana1.
"This guy never delivered at Naturena. What can you attribute his 'not so good performances' to as compared to his time Ajax and Sundowns?" asks Skyvodka.
"That's karma catching up to him. He cheated a lot (diving to get penalties). Now the real injuries have destroyed his career," says msanisto.
"His pride swallowed him. He should've taken the half-pay deal at Chiefs," says elkat.
"Who cares? Because he refused salary cut after all. Age is not on his side anymore, even that money they paid him was too much, sitting in the stands, doing nothing," says Phumzamthembu3.
"Eish, he should have accepted a salary cut," says CCTV.
"Oh how the mighty Khama has fallen! Piece of advice; sell all your expensive cars, buy a Hyundai i10 and go to Cape Town City. Even if Comitis pays you R20 000 a month, accept it and wind down your career. You won't regret it," says thulamda.
"If Billiat is smart his pocket will never run dry, he made a lot at Chiefs sitting on the sidelines. Chow the money boy," says ngwanamoshate.70.
"Billiat is a very expensive injury prone player..." says Eau De Parfum.
"'I came to Chiefs to win trophies,'" says Saavedra, mocking Billiat's move to Chiefs.
"Mphahlele said the same thing my brother, now he is at Amazulu without a trophy," replies ngwanamoshate.70.
"Chiefs destroyed his career," adds Saavedra.

Kaizer Chiefs vice-captain Keagan Dolly has given insight into the team's camp and believes they have what it takes to challenge for trophies this season.
Amakhosi have endured an underwhelming start to their season under new head coach Molefi Ntseki, as they find themselves in eighth place on the DStv Premiership standing, and also missed out on the chance to win the MTN8.
Dolly feels that there are a lot of positives to take out of their games, pointing out that individual errors have cost them at times, which is something he says is being worked on behind the scenes.
The 30-year-old is confident that Chiefs can challenge for the remaining cups available this season, insisting that they can win at least one trophy.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Dolly delivers honest assessment of Chiefs form" story:
"I am sure Dolly is happy to play the derby games, the rest he doesn't care," says nomzaw00.
"All the best to the men in black and gold," says khosilannete0.
"Yes, you can do it but not with coach Ntseki. Maybe with another coach we can win one," says user908858.
"It's like Dolly is following in the footsteps of Khama, Mphahlele, and Castro etc. until the contract comes to an end," says ngwanamoshate.70.
"Enjoy Bobby's money without compensation," says Saavedra.
"One we start lifting trophies, we won't stop. They [Other teams] don't want us to lift anything because they will starve. We lost out on the MTN8 because the ref was paid by Sundowns, this time, we must score and see if they will take the ball out of the net to deny us," says Lwazihnzimande.
