Getting one of over your former club is certainly a reason worth smiling about and Orlando Pirates winger Lesedi Kapinga now has a glow about him after his recent MTN8 triumph. Here's a look!
The story
The Bucs secured their first trophy of the season last week, as they defended their MTN8 title by beating reigning DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns. The titanic tie had a number of storylines, including Kapinga's clash with his former employers after he struggled for game time at Chloorkop resulting in his departure.
While there has certainly been no love lost between the 28-year-old and Downs, victory was evidently sweet for the attacker, as he was one of the scorers during the tense shootout, which saw three of his ex-colleagues miss their spot-kicks to give Ezimnyama Ngenkani and 3-1 win.

While it may not be relative to the result, Kapinga is glowing in confidence, as he has already registered a handful of appearances in four different competitions so far, according to Transfermarkt.
He recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram, dressed in an effortlessly vibrant outfit. The wide smile on his face signals a player who is much happier and is seemingly getting his career back on track after taking a bit of a dip in recent seasons.
Many of his teammates, including Olisa Ndah, Thabang Monare, Nkosinathi Sibisi, and Melusi Buthelezi, have shown him some love on the comments section.
His ability on the pitch is unquestioned, as many potential suitors were eyeing his signature after he left the Brazilians, with Kaizer Chiefs having also been rumoured to one of the interested parties.
It is unclear what the duration of his contract at Pirates is but early signs point at him becoming a cult hero in Orlando.
