Kaizer Chiefs ended a four-game winless run with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Sekhukhune United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday night.
Sekhukhune's Elias Mokwana broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time from a through ball by Chibuike Ohizu. Edson Castillo got the equaliser moments before he was substituted for new signing Sibongiseni "Ox" Mthethwa in the 64th minute.
Edmilson Dove the winner and his first goal of the season with a 74th minute, assisted by Reeve Frosler.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs rally back to end winless streak" story:
"They will start asking for Man City now," says Ubalalolo.
"Just those who win the Champions league in the media annually.
"Including their players deserving to be in the National team but cannot compete and have turned our country into a laughing stock," replies Football psychology.
"Kaizer Chiefs is the laughing stock of South African football," replies Saavedra.
"Sinethemba FC is very interesting though. It has the most loyal fans in the land. They lose two games and swear to quit, and they win 1 game and nd rejoin, with chests up," says StheLucipher.
"Shapa Khosi shapa. Rise Khosi rise," says Dr Mthimkhulu.
"Even though they held on to win, it is not a convincing WIN. There is a lot that needs to be done to say that they can get to position 2 at the end of the season," says peter95157.
"Someone once said Chiefs players are lazy, I tend to believe that. They cannot run," adds peter95157.
"But Sundowns players run and cannot win the Champions league. The least said about their individual performances at the national team, the better with all the running nogal," replies Football psychology.
"Do people still hate or blame the national team coach for what he said about Chiefs?" asks BrutuswamaJuju.
Read: Truter: We were tactically superior over Chiefs
In reaction to the match, Sekhukhune United head coach Brandon Truter says his chargers deserved to walk away with something from the 2-1 result in Durban.
Truter says they only made two mistakes that led to goals but other than that and insists they were tactically superior over Chiefs and produced more clear-cut chances.
The former AmaZulu and Swallows boss does admit that his troops can improve technically but does insist that they weren't the lesser side against the Soweto giants.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Truter: We were tactically superior over Chiefs" story:
"Yeah neh, this reminds me of that one coach who once said, 'We did not loose the match, we ran out of time'.
"Sometimes, these coaches are such a joke, instead of admitting, they choose to play down the effort of the opponent," says Danito 4 Life.
"Mr Truter, you lost to 'cry babies', why?" asks Skyvodka.
"Maybe it's because Chiefs are an average team, with all the resources they have, Chippa has done better already. Media FC," says 999@MKM.
"Tactically superior over Chiefs? Hhayi khona, coach. You just need to leave Nyaope and Ganja, I wonder how because Chiefs was all over you team and again, were guilty of not finishing the Job," says mthunzijack7.
"He's seeing things we're not," replies Bamjee.
"Let him be my brother, what we know is that Chiefs beat him and the sound of crying is heard all over Marabastad," replies Danito 4 Life.
