'Percy Tau will always come out on top'

With Al Ahly reportedly advising Percy Tau against becoming preoccupied with a potential move away from the club, readers have now had their say on the issue.

What's the story?

According to Egyptian outlet One3, Tau has been receiving foreign offers via the wife of former Al Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane, Moira Tlhagale. However, the club's director of football Khaled Bebo reportedly held a meeting with the player and is believed to have stressed that the attacker resist any offers put forward to him by Tlhagale.

Here's what the KickOff faithful had to say:

"Tau is a great player, he must not allow uselessness to deter him from his greatness. The current situation is just for a time. He can join any team in the world," says Mbusi Simelane.

"He must go to Asian teams to chow their money for five years then come back," says Christos Yamkela Mtolo.

"This one still has a lot to offer I don't know if I'm lying," says Mjita O'grand Slago.

"Tau must just pack his boots and leave, if no appreciation from the Management and Coach," says Mammolelo Tshehla.

"I still maintain that him joining Pitso at Al Ahly back then was a mini suicide on his career. He should have stayed in Europe. He would have been given more respect and perhaps a little more appreciation," says Hlabirwa Mpho Mashaba.

"That's unfair and it's okay because Percy Tau will always come out on top," says Moeketsi Moletsane.

"Chiefs will never afford him.." writes Thabang Jesse Funani.
