Former Mamelodi Sundowns star and now SuperSport United defender Lyle Lakay may have another sporting talent beyond football.

When he’s not tackling opponents or delivering precise crosses, Lakay appears to enjoy spending time playing tennis.
Lakay, known for his powerful left foot and commanding presence on the pitch, was recently spotted on the tennis court with his teammates.
Matsatsantsa were at what seemed to be a tennis tournament, with Lakay showing his skills.
Interestingly, Lakay shared photos of himself in action on the court, and to the untrained eye, he could easily be mistaken for a professional tennis player.

Since his unexpected departure from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2022, Lakay has been plying his trade at SuperSport United. Prior to that, he had a loan stint at Cape Town City.
Now with only two games left in the season, Lakay is focused on helping SuperSport United avoid relegation. The club currently sits in 14th place on the log.
