It was claimed that the former Newcastle United forward was enjoying an evening with his wife Billi Mucklow as the pair were said to have been dining at a restaurant in London.
Reports suggest that the pair were nocking back some drinks and enjoying the cuisine on offer, and as they were preparing to leave and conclude their evening, Carroll got into an argument with another male.
It was then said that the scuffle moved outside of the establishment and into the streets where security is believed to have intervene to bring things to a halt.
The person Carroll had been fighting was suggested to have fled the scene, with the attacker reportedly asking "where is he?" as onlookers tried to calm him down.

In the video, the former West Ham United striker could be seen visibly worked up with his shirt torn. With the attacker standing at 1.93m tall and a muscular make-up, not many people would stay to finish the battle.
The 35-year-old currently plies his trade at Ligue 2 club Amiens SC, and cannot help but wonder what the conversation will be when he returns to France after the off-season.
