Lorch made an impressive start to his stint with the Tshwane giants under then-head coach Rulani Mokwena. However, his fortunes declined following Mokwena’s departure, which eventually led to a six-month loan move to Wydad.

Following the announcement of his departure, Lorch expressed his gratitude to the club, thanking them for the opportunity to wear the iconic yellow jersey.

"As I turn to the next chapter of my career, I want to thank Masandawana for welcoming, embracing and supporting me," Lorch said.

"To the Chairman and The Board, thank you for allowing me to spread my wings up North.

"To my former teammates, Coaches and Technical Team, I am privileged to have played with you and under your guidance."
