The club stated that the Moroccan coach and some of his colleagues had exited the team bus after encountering a road accident scene.
Tragically, while attempting to assist at the scene, a Nissan NP200 collided with a stationary vehicle, striking Ouaddou and the Pirates staff, resulting in serious injuries.
The news sent shockwaves through the football community, prompting Ouaddou’s former club, Fulham, to share a heartfelt message.
Fulham wrote on X: "Praying for good news, and sending our best wishes to Abdes Ouaddou and his colleagues at this time."
