The midweek contest between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium on Wednesday (19:30) will come with a decisive call being made on Tuesday midday.
Bertie Grobbelaar, the Stadium Management SA boss, confirmed that as of Monday morning, there had been 27 000 ticket sales.

While FNB Stadium can accommodate approximately 94 000, the crowd expected will either be half or two-thirds of that capacity.
With Monday having been payday for most, ticket sales are expected to rise overnight into Tuesday and then in the hours leading to matchday.
Grobbelaar confirmed that a final call will be made on Tuesday midday in deciding the planning for either 45 000 or 60 000 fans, with the latter presenting a R500 000 difference in related costs.
This will be for security and safety matters, though consideration will also be made for commercial aspects.
With this fixture played on a midweek at the end of the month, it presents a tricky challenge for the organisers, who have traffic and transport management planning plus parking allocation to also consider for the fans.
There will be the element of ticket sales at the match venue to be factored in depending on what decision is reached on what capacity to plan for between the two options being considered.

Stadium Management SA has made extensive efforts to curb ticketing fraud.
There is an ongoing court case relating to Nedbank Cup final fake tickets in Durban.
No organised public transport is available for this match, which will have gates opened at 16:30.
