Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs' ongoing pursuit of varying options to restructure their current technical team will force the club in committing to stretching their financial budget by as much as millions each month.
Chiefs have so far reportedly contacted several coaches presented to them by a variety of agents and are in the process of deciding on the most effective decision.

As is always the case, finances will form a key part of the negotiations in determining the avenue that Chiefs choose to pursue ahead of next season.

Amakhosi appear to have lost confidence in head coach Arthur Zwane after allowing him a season to oversee the club as it entered its eighth consecutive season without a trophy.
Under Zwane, Chiefs finished a mammoth 26 points adrift of Mamelodi Sundowns after losing a record 12 of their 30 league matches.
In the knockout tournaments, it was the same in both the Nedbank Cup and MTN8.
There was the defeat to Orlando Pirates in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup which came after Chiefs were also bundled out by AmaZulu at the same stage in the top-eight competition.

According to numerous sources close to the discussions, KickOff can reveal that the calibre of coaches that Chiefs aim to appoint will prove a costly endeavor in the region of R1 million per month.
This is inclusive of the head coach along with two to three backroom staffers in key support roles as assistant, performance/video analyst, goalkeeper coach, or conditioning coach.
Pitso Mosimane has moved around with a similar team in his various jobs at Al Ahly in Egypt and then at Al Ahli Saudi.
In Saudi Arabia, Mosimane worked with Kabelo Rangoaga (fitness trainer), Musi Matlaba and Kyle Solomons (performance analysts), and then added Maahier Davids as an assistant coach.

Spaniard Jose Riveiro arrived at Orlando Pirates with Sergio Almenara while at TS Galaxy Sead Ramovic had Mensur Dogan and now has Adnan Beganovic and Mustafa Kodro as his number 'twos'.
This is the same arrangement that has greeted Chiefs in their negotiation with prospective coaches that have come in for consideration.
Coaches at clubs that rank in the same class Chiefs demand between USD25 000 (approx. R450 000) and USD50 000 (approx. R900 000).
The structure of these deals is negotiated with winning bonuses and other perks.
Then the support staffers are on a ladder that moves up from USD5 000 (approx. R90 000) depending on the position, experience and budget of the club in question.

Chiefs are keen on a proposal that will at least keep Arthur Zwane within the set-up considering his familiarities with the club operations.
The 49-year-old has worked as an assistant to several coaches through the last dozen years since he retired.
