Ntseki speaks out on his worries at Chiefs...

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has acknowledged his concerns at the club as the season meanders towards the third mark pegging of his reign in charge.

Chiefs have won three out of nine league games and have already lost four while they won one out of three matches in the MTN8 in being elbowed out at the semi-final stage.

So, from 12 games in all competitions, Chiefs have won four, lost five, and drawn three.

Beyond that is the issue of a blunt attack.

"I'm just worried about us not scoring," admits Ntseki.

With nine games played in the league, Ashley du Preez has one goal just like Christian Basomboli Saile while the two new signings upfront Ranga Chivaviro and Efmamjjasond Gonzalez are both yet to score which is a poor return by any means.

Even from midfield, the bulk of those with at least five league appearances are still to score and that list has – Mduduzi Shabalala, Yusuf Maart, Tebogo Potsane, Lehlogonolo Matlou, and Mduduzi Mdantsane.

"But in terms of the tactical cohesion that is coming right, I think we will definitely turn the corner and start enjoying working at Kaizer Chiefs by winning games.

"The missing part in our game is that of not scoring goals which is a technical and tactical element which we are working on every time ae are at training.

"I think scoring as a striker is the most important thing because it gives you confidence, it makes you feel good about yourself.

"It also wins games for the club, but I think goal scoring is not only for the strikers but for the whole team.

"We can score goals from set-plays and score goals from open play with a midfielder or striker, so I think the most important thing is to work on individual confidence and understanding where goals come from and how to finish the chances that we are creating.

"So, I think time is ticking for any of our strikers and any of our attacking players to convert the chances that we are creating," says Ntseki.
