Midfielder Samkelo Zwane has reflected on Kaizer Chiefs' pre-season tour of the Netherlands, as Amakhosi landed back in South Africa to make final preparations for the season.
The Soweto giants are back on South African soil after a two-week pre-season camp in the Netherlands. They played five friendly matches against Dutch opposition, of which one ended in victory.

Among those who travelled with the team was Zwane, the club's academy product.
"First of all, my body is tired. I'm sure all the players are feeling that way. The trip to the Netherlands was a good one. It was very competitive and very challenging," the midfielder said on Newzroom Afrika.
"I think all pre-season is supposed to be like that, very challenging. It's a place to try and understand our teammates better. Understand the coach better.
"So it was a very challenging trip, but a good one."

Interestingly, Chiefs played several of their matches on consecutive days, and sometimes, would still have a training session after the matches.
"The coach didn't tell us, but from my own understanding, it was definitely planned like that to make sure that we are physically ready for the season," Zwane explained.
"They made sure that we were playing the matches under some sort of fatigue, and to make sure that when we play the official matches, we are up and ready for the season.
"We are understanding Coach Nabi a little bit better. We are."
Amakhosi now shift focus to the Toyota Cup, where they face Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at Moses Mabhida Stadium this weekend.
