Kaizer Chiefs are in the market in efforts to bolster their attack, and KickOff has been reliably informed the Soweto giants made contact with a Bafana Bafana attacker plying his trade overseas.
Though Chiefs finished the season outside the Top Eight, they ended the campaign, statistically, as the team that created the most chances in the league far ahead of rivals, champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

Club Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. and his scouting team have been hard at work during the off-season, with news reaching this publication being that they have cast their net as far as Cyprus for a striker.
Following reports in local media that Mihlali Mayambela would be open to leaving Aris Limassol for a PSL team, preferrably Amakhosi, it has been established that the Naturena-based side have actually made contact.
The player has a year remaining on his current contract.
"What I can tell you is that he was approached by Chiefs. It was basically to assess his situation," said a reliable source familiar with the matter.
"Aris would be open to selling, they could ask for around R4 million or so. But I doubt Chiefs would go for him because he can sign a pre-contract in January.

"It would not be easy to do the deal in this transfer window, but I can tell you for sure, Mihlali was approached by Chiefs," affirmed the insider.
