Itumeleng Khune has been told that he will have to endure extreme punishment and severe criticism due to the weight of his profile if found guilty of reporting for duty under the influence of alcohol.
Khune allegedly arrived at training under the influence last week and was subsequently dropped from the squad that did duty against Moroka Swallows on Sunday.

The veteran goalkeeper will now have to face the club's disciplinary committee.
"Khune will now have to suffer harsh punishment because of who he is," said retired goalkeeper Brenden Wardle, who also had to deal with alcohol-related issues through his playing days.
Wardle was sacked at Golden Arrows due to his drinking habits.
"I think they might even fine him a month's salary because this is the best chance for Chiefs to set an example for others.
"The punishment instil fear at Chiefs from now onwards because if they don't go severe it will be viewed as being gross favouritism.
"Just because this thing has now been done by Khune it will be blown to huge proportions, yet it is a regular occurrence at most clubs.
"This culture of drinking doesn't only happen at Chiefs so that is why I'm not surprised.
"It is all over the PSL and I say this because I played for several clubs in the PSL.
"What happens is that you go out the previous night and then get home and sleep but unfortunately with football when you run your sweat smells of alcohol.

"I respect Khune because he has done wonders but after this people will lose respect for him and view him in a bad light.
"I feel pity for him.
"I suspect there is something that is frustrating Khune at Chiefs and eating him up from inside and it will burst soon.
"What makes it bad for Khune is that he is in his last playing contract, according to what the club said when they renewed his deal.
"He was due to have a comfortable role at the club after playing but he has now messed it up.
"His every move will now be monitored, and he won't enjoy it because the relationship will not be the same anymore.
"For all the good that he has done in all these years, he will now be made to look very bad," says Wardle.
