Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Yusuf Maart has lauded the impact of emerging South American superstar Edson Castillo following a blistering start to the current season for the Soweto giants.
Recently signed Castillo has been a revelation for Chiefs this season, contributing three goals from the heart of midfield in seven appearances across all competitions.

Speaking to journalists at Chiefs' media open day on Thursday, Maart opened up on Castillo's bright start to life at Naturena.
"He's a great player to be honest with you," Maart said.
"The way he plays, his style of play is something different and the way he passes you can see is different. He brings a lot of value to the team."

The Venezuelan midfielder doesn't speak much English although Mozambican teammate Edmilson Dove doubles up as a translator in communicating with teammates.
However, Maart insists on the field, it's the football that does all the talking.
"It is difficult [to communicate with Castillo] but he understands football, so he will see the movement and everything," Maart added.
"We're thankful to have him because he's a great player. To play with him is great and it's not making it easy for us during training.

"All the midfielders, everyone is putting in the effort, working hard. Any midfielder who comes to any team [and does well] will always uplift us, puts the effort in and basically all the midfielders during the season need [have to work hard]."
Following the international break, Chiefs return to DStv Premiership action when they face Royal AM on Saturday at FNB Stadium.
Kick-off is at 17:30.
