Orlando Pirates legend Edward 'Magents' Motale believes Kaizer Chiefs' victory against amateur club Free Agents FC should not lull them into a sense of overconfidence going into the Soweto Derby.
Chiefs convincingly defeated Tshwane-based ABC Motsepe League side Free Agents FC 4-0 at FNB Stadium on Sunday to secure a spot in the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.

In contrast, Pirates had a tougher opponent, Richards Bay FC, whom they eventually beat 3-1 a day earlier at King Zwelithini Stadium.
The scoreline could have been different had Ronnie Gabriel's men been more clinical in front of goal.
The 1995 CAF Champions League winner feels this makes the Buccaneers better prepared for Saturday's Soweto Derby compared to the men in Black and Gold.
Tickets for the highly anticipated fixture are already sold out.
"Pirates have the upper hand going into the Soweto Derby," Motale told KickOff.com.
"Playing against a PSL side in the Nedbank Cup better prepares Pirates to secure another three points on Saturday in the league.
"In their last five games, Pirates have been playing good football. The match yesterday was relatively easy for them, as Richards Bay has been struggling recently.
They could not rise to the challenge."
'Magents' expects their cup victory to further motivate Jose Riveiro's men.

"These days at Pirates, whoever is starting is just as capable as the player who started the previous week. I strongly believe that against Chiefs, Riveiro will field the same players he started with against Richards Bay.
"Kaizer Chiefs' readiness for the Soweto Derby cannot be assessed based on a win over an ABC Motsepe League club. You can't claim to be back to winning ways simply because of a victory over a team that appears to be struggling, a directionless team."
