No win in three league games has already created friction for Molefi Ntseki and the club's fan base.
"It hurts to see what is happening at Chiefs because this is not what I identify with the club that I played for which made winning trophies a habit," says Jose 'Jossias' Macamo, who played for Chiefs during the 'operation vat alles' era.
Macamo won three trophies (BP Top8, Coca-Cola Cup, and CAF Cup Winners Cup) plus the cherry of the 2001 Vodacom Challenge within the first six months of his arrival at Chiefs in 2001.
"During my time at Chiefs, there used to be incredible unity at the club, and it helped that we had Doctor Khumalo and Ace Khuse within the squad.
"Players knew what they were coming to Chiefs for, which was to win trophies.
"Is it still the same now or the club doesn't have that culture anymore because something is wrong if Chiefs goes for so long without winning a trophy.
"It is very bad for Chiefs not to win trophies for so long, so something needs to be done to urgently fix the problem.

"When I was at Chiefs, we shared a common goal which was to win games trophies, but it seems some players now only go to Chiefs for the sake of money their CVs.
"Are you sure everyone is together at Chiefs from the people at the office to those on the field?
"It seems there are cracks of divisions at Chiefs in important positions and I hope this can be attended to and solved as soon as possible.

"With us, we were family at the time which is why I still relate to the club and feel the pain of the club's struggles while I'm not anywhere near the village.
"Are those players playing for the club badge or the names at the back of their jerseys?
"Is this a club still keen on winning trophies?
"What are they doing in seeking to do that?
"Are they bringing solutions to problems with the decisions being made?
"There has obviously been a mentality shift at the club, and it is evident in the failure to win trophies.
"It is time that people become honest about the situation at Chiefs," says Macamo.
