Tom Barkhuizen has been widely linked with a debut for South Africa for many years but it is yet to happen.
The star has played for a number of teams in England including Morecambe FC, Blackpool, Fleetwood Town and most recently Preston North End.

Embarking on a new adventure
However, Barkhuizen recently announced that he is leaving Preston at the end of this season and has since been linked with a move to Wayne Rooney's Derby County and Sunderland.
While his on-field career seems to be thriving, his off-field life follows the same theme after announcing that he married his long term partner 'Manon Hollywood' as she is named on Instagram.
The loving pair were treated to a beautiful picturesque wedding with their closest ones being able to attend the majestic affair. Barkhuizen described the day as the "best day of his life" and revealed that there are only a few pictures where he is not in tears due to happiness.

The outgoing couple had a unique wedding which saw them playing golf on Miniature courses while they were still in their marriage wear.
Did you know?
With the exception of Kgaogelo Chauke and Bradley Cross, who are yet to make their Premier League debuts with Southampton and Newcastle United respectively, no South Africa-eligible star played higher up in the English football pyramid than Barkhuizen this season.
