A Borussia Dortmund star says his side must win their remaining matches, including their upcoming game against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Dortmund were held to a goalless draw by Brazilian side Fluminense in their opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Sundowns, meanwhile, were the only team to claim victory in Group F, edging South Korean outfit Ulsan HD 1–0 to go top of the table.

Downs and Dortmund are now set to meet on Saturday at 18:00 (South Africa time) at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati.
There is much at stake for both teams, as a win for Sundowns would guarantee them a place in the round of 16.
A victory for Dortmund would keep their hopes of staying in the tournament alive, and goalkeeper Gregor Kobel insists that his team has no choice but to win their remaining two fixtures against Sundowns and Ulsan.
“We need to win the next two matches,” Kobel told DAZN.
“After today's performance [against Fluminense], we need to ensure that we rediscover the form that made us very strong at the end of the Bundesliga season in the next matches.
“So it's a case of getting the legs ready again and adjusting to the time difference. And then I'm positive that we can do well in the upcoming games.”
