Following confirmation he will no longer clock in for work at 5/6 Lena Road, Lenaron in Naturena, with his deal not renewed, Edmilson Dove has poured his heart out via an emotional farewell letter.
Chiefs announced on Wednesday evening that Dove would be leaving the club at the end of his contract, which expires at the end of June.
The dreadlocked star, who joined in August 22, has made 56 appearances in the famous Gold and Black jersey.

He proved versatile when needed, slotting in at either centre-back or left-back with ease. Dove also contributed two goals during his stint.
The Mozambican international‘s initial contract with the Soweto giants reached expiry at the end of the 2023/24 season and was renewed for an extra year.
Notably, he has had his struggles with injury.
Dove has now taken to the social media platform Instagram to bid South Africa's most-supported club a fond farewell.
"1- Dear DR KHAIZER MOTAUNG. Thank you, Mr Chairman, for allowing me and my family to be part of the amakhosi family, for allowing me to fulfil a childhood dream,” Dove wrote.
"It’s been a crazy ride during which I have grown not only as a player, but also as a human being.
"We had our ups and downs, we have shed some tears along the way, but we also had joyful moments which I will cherish forever.
"2- To every coach, teammate, kit manager, gardener, kitchen staff and everyone associated with the club that I have had the opportunity of working with, here goes my heartfelt appreciation and Gratitude. Each and every day we got to spend together was valuable. The Bond Created is unbreakable.

In addition to Dove, Amakhosi have also confirmed the exit of striker Ranga Chivavairo and midfielder Sabelo Radebe as the club prepares for what is expected to be a revamp of the squad.
Meanwhile, several arrivals are also expected at Chiefs. Thabiso Monyane, Paseko Mako and Sipho Mbule are some of the names linked with a move to the Naturena-based outfit.
