A coach who was previously appointed into the Chippa United technical team but never managed a day in the job has emerged as a hot favourite for the head coaching job at the club.
It's now public knowledge that Chippa and Sinethemba Badela are no longer an item after the Sterkspruit native was in charge of the team for one game, a league fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns played in East London on Women's Day.

Luc Eymael is now expected to take over after arriving in the country this morning.
According to sources close to the Chilli Boys, the club has already agreed in principle with the Belgian to take over as head coach and he is expected to be introduced to players tomorrow.
"Luc Eymael has had a meeting with 'Chippa' Mpengesi and his son. He is already in the country and expected to travel to Gqeberha this afternoon," said a source.
The 65-year-old was appointed technical advisor at the club in 2021, but the decision was overturned before he could assume duties following pressure from political parties and soccer fans after racism rumours involving Eymael emerged in Tanzania, where he had previously coached.
