As Cape Town City find themselves in a pickle following a poor season, assistant coach Roger De Sa has commented on what awaits the team in the upcoming PSL promotion/relegation play-offs.
City ended the campaign in 15th place, meaning they will have to contest the play-offs against Casric Stars and Orbit College, though final confirmation will come from the PSL with a legal case involving champions Durban Stars underway.

"At the moment, there is no plan for the play-offs. We are waiting for the PSL to tell us what is the plan," says De Sa, speaking exclusively to KickOff.com.
"Hopefully there's a little bit of Fair Play here, and let's sew who we play against. We've always been focusing on the play-offs for the last four weeks.
"Since I came here, we've always spoken about the play-offs, buy obviously there's been so many rules and regulations we don't know which book to go by.
"So, we're just waiting to hear what's the plan going forward. We just keeping the engine running for in case we need to race again, though we're still to find out who to race against, he says.
The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper also touched on the difficulty of being involved in the post-season mini-league.
"Another thing is, after the play-offs you have to plan with whatever you've got. It's not ideal. And if you look back at the history of the play-offs, it's almost 50/50 in terms of PSL teams and NFD teams getting promoted.
"I think there's a 50/50 success rate there.

"And, to be honest, we only knew yesterday we were in the play-offs. Casric and Orbit are not confirmed either.
"For all we know, we could be facing whoever, Hungry Lions, Kruger... we don't know. It's like opening a lucky packet. We'll have to wait and see what comes out of the lucky packet," quipped the witty tactician.
