SuperSport United will not recall Bafana Bafana players ahead of CAF Confederation Cup final

Matsatsantsa are currently without five of their key players who are currently with Bafana in Dakar for their dead-rubber clash against Senegal on Tuesday evening.

South Africa take on the Lions of Teranga in their final Group D World Cup qualifier, having already failed to make it to the showpiece in Russia next year.

Meanwhile, SuperSport will face an important clash in DR Congo, where they will contest their maiden CAF Confederation Cup final first leg on Sunday, before hosting the return leg in Tshwane next weekend.

Despite the diminished importance of Bafana's game, the recently crowned MTN8 champions will allow their players to honour the international tie as the squad only heads out to Lubumbashi on Friday.

"Our players should be back in the country on Thursday, and they'll have the day off before we fly out to DRC on Friday," confirmed club media man Brian Moshoeshoe.

Their five Bafana players are: Ronwen Williams, Clayton Daniels, Dean Furman, Bradley Grobler and Morgan Gould, who is suspended for the first leg.

Kick-off of the clash at the Stade TP Mazembe is set for 15h30.
