The 19-year-old marked his first start in the tournament with a thunderous strike from range in the 2-1 loss to TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi this past Sunday.
Matsatsantsa will host the return leg at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
“It’s the best feeling of [my] life, especially that I scored in the final," Mbule told his club's website.
“The defender was in front of me and I thought I should side step him and took a shot.
“I never thought I would score, I took a shot and it was a goal,” admitted the MultiChoice Diski Challenge product.
Mbule, who previously featured off the bench against Zesco United in the continental competition, was thrown in at the deep end in DR Congo as fellow midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane was suspended for the match.
The experienced 'Yeye' is available for this weekend's rematch in Atteridgeville, while striker Thabo Mnyamane could also make his return from injury.
